We always have way too many courses. This year my grandmother made a separate dressing for me - sans meat. The younger kids eat in the breakfast room while everyone else squeezes around the dining room table. Instead of serving ourselves buffet style we pass the large dishes around the table - in all directions. I've never understood the logic but I do not question it. It's somewhat of a Lebanese tradition or maybe just something we do to have more say about what goes on everyone's plate.
First Thanksgiving
Even though half of the conversation revolved around Nick Saban, my first Thanksgiving this year was yummy.
